Everywhere the elder medicine woman, Brooke Medicine Eagle goes in the world, she brings together a sisterhood to share her lifetime of experience and wisdom. Our program in Cortez, Colorado honors the land of the ancient ones and their descendants who live here now. She will bring to light Wisdom of the INDIGENOUS WAYS OF FREEDOM: Prophecy & Promise.
Brooke describes her workshop as a gift coming from the earth we walk on, to embrace our lives with radiance and a promising future. This is a sisterhood gathering filled with teachings, circle dance, singing and drumming. At 6 pm we will share a potluck-style dinner (please bring a dish) and then sit with Brooke at the fire under the beautiful dark sky of this ancestral land of many peoples.

An Ancient Understanding of a Radiant Future
Brooke will share Prophecy : Ancient Wisdom as it relates to our present time and the awakening future. Indigenous cultures have long had knowledge of the time in which we are now living, and have offered power-filled guidance for moving into a golden time in the highest and most graceful way. She will lead you to sing and move in simple and powerful dance forms to actively honor all levels of radiant Life.
Brooke's profound teachings arise from her FlowerSong Lineage. They speak of the primacy of the heart and love in our awakening to the Golden Age. More than simple emotion, it is a vital, rich and full pathway to a good and blessed life in which we offer our highest gifts, manifest our dreams, and serve our world.
We will complete our time together with a ritual of commitment to our joyful and heartful service in the world.
Brooke Medicine Eagle is our Elder Medicine Woman, author of Buffalo Woman Comes Singing and The Last Ghost Dance. She is a song writer with the most recent music collection, "La Femme Moon" music album. She is a guide for sacred singing, drumming and movement. As a modern-day speaker for ancestral indigenous ways, Brooke bridges the modern with the ancient prophecy with teachings that heal the present and awaken us to a promising future.
